The faculty and students of Qiandai Art School have achieved distinctive preservation and innovation in Chinese batik, seamlessly integrating ethnic Chinese elements with international contemporary artistic language. They have organized numerous group and solo exhibitions both domestically and internationally, with their batik works selected for multiple international art exhibitions. Concurrently, students have gained admission to world-renowned institutions through their unique batik projects, while Professor Qiandai has been honored with the title of " Zilong Batik Painting Research and Education Pioneer."

Moving beyond traditional still life and landscape sketching, Qiandai Art's Oil Painting course is an exploratory journey into materials, emotion, and concept. We guide students to draw inspiration from the brushstrokes of art history's masters while encouraging them to challenge the boundaries of the canvas, integrating personal feelings and social observations into their creations. The curriculum covers both classical and modern oil painting techniques, with a strong emphasis on experimental spirit—students will try mixed media, explore unique textures, and thus develop a personal visual language full of tension and expression.

Drawing is the fundamental grammar of all visual arts. Qiandai Art's Drawing course breaks through traditional frameworks, treating the discipline as a core subject for training observational skills, logical thinking, and spatial conception. Progressing from structural drawing to dynamic sketching, architectural drawing, and more, we guide students to understand the inherent logic of forms. We encourage the use of diverse strokes and expressive techniques, allowing line to become a personalized language that conveys emotion and rhythm.

From character design to storyboarding, our Cartoon & Illustration course is a playground for the imagination. Mentors employ guided thinking exercises to help students capture inspiration from daily life and transform it into compelling original characters and stories. The course covers digital painting and various hand-drawing techniques, encouraging students to break the boundaries of media and develop expressive styles ranging from simple and fashionable to fantastical and versatile, laying a solid foundation for their future artistic development.
